ups and downs. i feel kinda lost. @ 2:22 AM
ups and downs. ups and downs. each time i just fall deeper.
just finished writing japanese homework. yes. it's a freakin' 2am and i have lesson at 9am. was rushing out sima qian's family tree as well. managed to get something out on my own. let's just hope the standard of mine is not toooooo far from those of classmates. *sulk* who are all the other simas??
is this how friends feel when their friends are attached? haha. i seem to be getting a taste of it right now. kinda left out. it's quite. erm. i don't know how to put it.
or does it boil down to the same question? ARE YOU TOO SENSITIVE?
homework is never ending. i have piles of work and readings to catch up already. and this is really just the beginning. hell will arrive when due dates start drawing near. bad omen. bad bad semester. i deserve it for studying three level 3000 modules this sem when i only need to do one. violet chew, where's your kuku brain when you chose modules?
oh. and lab session for general biology today sucked totally. thank goodness i had the nice lab teacher/assistant to help me! one unhappy issue. but the day was generally good. i attended okada sensei's TB class today after one and a half years' time! he's nice. hurhur. met many friends in school...along corridor.....today. benghong, siwei, brina, victor, josh, candy and paula! haha. friends help to brighten your day indeed. then i had dinner with d' and his dad at west coast. nice food me n d' got. but my braised duck rice........ they actually don't sell it on thursday?!
okie. gotta get back to writing the proper family tree. sleep well everyone! especially mudpie. :)

detest the veggie. so me and yixian ended up eating them alland not forgetting the delicious seaweed chicken (yixian took the pic with an artistic feel to make it look fairytale-ly. we took 3 plates!! haha. uncle will fry for you and then his cute lil' daughter will serve them to you.. the shop is 'fat mama' at cuppage! very cosy feelin' worth trying! :) the gathering was planned by yixian who's going for SEP soon. gonna miss her and her laughter! haha. the 4 had fun laughing at stupid jokes and really funny jokes like yixian's words and actions. haha... it would have been more fun if jiehan were to have joined in as well...

here's the big group who had fun at Settler's Cafe (Holland V) last friday. Joe & Nita, Betty weren't there. Josh left early. it was a gathering to welcome Jasper who just returned from U.S (he's going very soon. this friday) sitting down we have : Jas, ryan, mervyl. Standing up: D', violet, Rongyao (my bajie! pigsy. haha), Ann and Bryan. the picture looks so freaking CHINESE NEW YEAR. hah
up next will be pictures of the 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle. now i can declare i contributed more to the completion of the puzzle than lazy daryl. hurhurhur. that's why. * ta chu qian, wo chu li*
this was taken on the 2nd Jan after 6 & a half hours of hard work. (we used 2 hrs just to finish that big border on 31st dec) we had blurred vision after that. haha!
and this was taken on 5th Jan after another 2 hours of hard work. i finally completed piecing up the red carpet and minnie's gown~*
13th jan! we finished this puzzle solely on our own. coz' i said i wanna complete it only with daryl. muahaha. 3 and half hours more to finish it up and so, it took us only around 14 hours to complete it. i actually thought we would take 2 months. too hard core. haha.

i am sickkkkkkkk......... down with flu and sore throat and perhaps slight fever. dear gave me 3 panadols altogether but they only make me feel well for a short period of time. continue coughing some more and i think my lungs will come outta my throat.
watched CARS the cartoon with dear. it was nice. time was well-spent yesterday and today.
we have completed our jigsaw puzzle!! 2000 pieces. so proud of ourselves... :) shall show you guys the pictures when i have time. gonna sleep now.

we spent a freakin' 98 dollars for all the text and coursepack. paula says she's gonna sell herself at geylang already. hahah. i told jeffrey to sell his pigu too! but he will take longer time than paula to earn back. haha! i am mean.
oh and the first japanese lecture was BAD. totally unable to grasp anything! too much. it's 4 times tougher than japanese 4. oh man. but we shall persevere~
after watching my friends eat at the nice *carpark* canteen near LT11 (my friends said the food sucks), jeff accompanied me to BBDC to book my basic theory. having my BTT on valentine's day. haha. how nice. but okay for me. coz' d' gotta work till 6pm anyway.
oh the system is odd. it was my first time there. just wanted to register for BTT and they asked me to decide private/school and manual/automatic already. i chose private and manual. and tada! they said if i wanna change, i have to pay $10.50.... bOo. but things should be fine la huh... wanna pass both theory tests within half a year so i don't have to pay to renew my membership!!! practical shall wait. wait till i work. start earning more. then i learn. d' said wanna teach me. haha i want that too. but both of us die if kena caught.

it wasn't such a bad day afterall @ 12:45 AM
i got a keyboard from 6th uncle (the old type which uses plug in instead of usb port) i desperately need one such keyboard coz' my new keyboard doesn't work well with my linksys adapter... but some problem occurred and i got pek chek. dear helped me with the internet connection problem just now and because he sounded cheem (it's either he didn't give CLEAR instructions or i couldn't get his message because i am just STUPID), i started to scream into the phone. okay mabbe not scream. but i raised my voice like dunno what.
and i did not feel remorseful. ahhaha... my dear also na wo mei ban fa. he said he got nothing to say and that i bully him always. hurhur.
i bought 2 more polo tee from giordano today. :)
and ate nice food at clementi central with my 2 cousins chris and charlotte.
didn't go godmum's housewarming party. coz' i will feel odd? but i miss the food. haha.
school's starting. japanese lecture tmr. all announcements in full japanese. it takes a long time just for me to read one. and after getting to know what they're about, i frown. because my textbooks will cost a whopping $88 dollars!!! good eh? 88. lucky number. booooo.
i wanna play somemore..... i don't want school to start.... but it's my last semester in school already... time really flies... violet is gonna start working after May... (hopefully i can get a job)
i wanna go out on weekends... spend time with dear... staying in and nua also good. i feel very sian when i don't get to see him on weekends.... just like today....
maybe i stay over too often? until uncle jim created a joke this afternoon. daryl told me this. his dad went into his room and said "later ask violet to bring her bag along". d' was somehow stunned and replied "i don't get what you mean, dad. violet is not here". "OhhHhhhhhh~" HAHAH. there they laughed at themselves. hmmmm. uncle misses my presence? everything is like too natural? i am there on a sunday. after we go out, me and d' will stay at my hse already. haha no!! this has not become a routine of mine yet!! haha. but this incident is really quite funny larr. oh me and d' has finished our 2000piece puzzle more than half-way!! total time spent up till now is around 11 hours. and i am proud of ourselves! we're gonna hang it up in his room. cute disney picture. minnie and mickey are getting married~ dear chose it.
this is a quite a long post. i am quite tired. i shall sleep. and yup, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM was a nice movie. :) goodnight peeps!

uh uh.. no good no good. @ 1:09 PM
my dear chen mama fainted in the family doctor's clinic yesterday morning. both sis and i were sleeping at 11plus when sis got a call from the clinic just next to our block. nurse called to say mum fainted. we had no time to think. we thought just go down to bring her home. so we didn't even bother to change clothes. just took wallet, phone and rushed down. in the life, nurse called again, asked us to hurry coz' the ambulance was there ald.
it was like drama... the clinic door was wide open. many onlookers standing in semi-circle around the door area. everyone looking at my mum who was lying in the middle of the clinic already. paramedics were just going to bring her onto the stretcher. she really blacked out. i sat in the passenger seat in the ambulance, looking back to mum who still did not wake up. sis sat in a cab which followed behind us.
chen mama only woke up at 1plus in the afternoon. we weren't allowed to see her at all. a long waiting period followed next. sis and i were walking in the hospital in our sleeping clothes. totally unglam larh. she went back home to change after that but i had to stay behind. hmmm. looked quite horrible. yikes.
5th aunt came to accompany us. 6plus the doctor talked to us. telling us mum had to stay for a night for observation purposes. but she was still in the A&E area. but along the corridor. haha we joked. think it's because there was no space, so they pushed her out to corridor. so whenever the door opens, we could see her. but for near to 2 hours, she just lay on the bed.. no one did anything to transfer her to the ward. we got pek chek la. cousin just went into the A&E area. then all of us followed. but we were asked to leave a while later. NUH is very slooowwwwww and not very efficient leh. i waited a total of 8 hours before i could see my mum. arghhh. but very glad she's alright. blood tests all showed she's healthy. ECG as well. kidneys all v good. so the doc said nothing's wrong. we may nvr know why she suddenly blacked out. :( hope this will not happen again. she's been running to NUH too often these few months.
they say it's common to faint suddenly. i know. i always almost faint when i don't have food. i am serious. just like JLPT test date, i almost couldn't make it coz' i didn't eat and felt super dizzy. daryl, cannot let me starve you see... hurhur.
mum tried so hard to walk fast coz' she knew something was wrong. she wanted to reach home/clinic before she fainted. but she suddenly felt weak. this is scary. why are human beings so weak/helpless/vulnerable? my mum is such a strong woman. she's a bull in our eyes but recently she has shown to us, she is just a normal human being.
she is happily home now. cooking her lunch. we went to pick her up at 9plus in the morning. :)

our way of welcoming 2007 @ 12:45 AM
anyway, hope everyone had fun celebrating and welcoming the new year! i had fun at dear's house. with the company of my hubhub, the usual gang and ryan's 3 friends... (2 french and 1 japanese) so here in the picture are mervyl, ryan, daryl, ann, bunjiro (top), ghilainn (bottom), bryan, vince and me! meryl, (merv's sis) and joe joined us after midnight too.we ate murtabak, roti john and pizza. haha. weird combination right? drank a little and as usual, i began to feel sleepy... the real game began when ryan's friends came back again from the viewing of fireworks at 12 plus. we played card games and i was lucky to escape all the shitty drinks they made for losers. hurhur. all the liquor combined in a small sake glass. no pepsi or other drinks to dilute the alcohol. we saw one by one drink those and then went mad, got high, got crazy, got to feel terrible and finally puke. poor vince. i felt really sorry for him. even though he broke the mirror and lid of the toilet *water storage tank* he didn't know what he was doing... after that 8 deadly sips of pure jacks. or whatsoever.
everyone was tired. haha. i spent my new year day sleeping till 2 plus. then ate lunch at 3pm. then slept again till 7 plus. did not touch our 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle at all for the whole day. haha we are pigs. PIGSY FROM THE WEST & PIGSY FROM THE NORTH. hahah...
happy new year to all then! thanks to the many friends who sent me the new year well wishings messages. i did not reply because my sms is reaching the 500 limit. haha sorry arh!

this is bryan at the christmas party last year. our doctor got drunk and he was threatening all of us with a bottle of red wine. hahahaha. so funny whenever we recall the incident even though it has already been a year. i looked really horrified in the picture. oh my goodness.
was thinking to myself. i may really have many more years ahead to spend with Daryl... :)
